The successful candidate shall provide Clerical Support in the Brigade and Battalion Headquarters and shall collect and provide information to the Brigade and Battalion S-1 Offices for personnel in the Brigade and Battalion. The successful candidate shall be responsible for submission, tracking and reconciliation of all Electronic Military Personnel Office (EMILPO) reports, shall monitor the Deployed Theater Accountability Software (DTAS) and be responsible for timely and efficient mechanism for tracking and providing visibility of deployed soldiers, contractors and DA civilians.
The successful candidate shall perform the following Clerical functions:
Monitor PERSTEMPO data in accordance with established thresholds. Advise the Brigade and Battalion
Commander of trends and make recommendations on needed corrective actions within the Battalion and associated companies (daily).
Prepare, based on narrative provided, unit level portion of Awards Recommendations.
Prepare, based on narrative provided, unit level portion of Evaluations.
Prepare Leave and Pay documents.
Prepare Personnel Actions (DA Form 4187).
Perform unit level mail clerk duties.
Perform general administration duties (typing and filing).
Process unit personnel accountability reports and notices--Daily.
Process the Personnel Asset Inventory (PAI) – in accordance with current EMILPO Functional Guidance.
Analyze officer and enlisted personnel manning status (Unit Manning Report (UMR) and ensure appropriate eMILPO transactions are submitted timely and accurately--Daily.
Process Personnel Accounting Error Notices--Daily.
Prepare Non-Deployable Report -- Monthly but monitor daily.
Maintain and submit PERSTEMPO data.
Responsible for daily reconciliation and updates in DTAS and providing various reports to higher headquarters IAW established suspense date, which includes at a minimum, but not limited to, accountability by Day, Name, Location and Unit.
Shall ensure the following DTAS objectives are met:
Improve data quality.
Establish a common picture.
Perpetuate deployed personnel accountability.
Requirements:
Active Secret clearance is a must
Minimum 2 years’ experience in a military environment
