The Denysys Corporation is currently looking for a Business Development professional for the National Capital region. The successful candidate will lead efforts to locate, develop, coordinate and capture new business opportunities for our COTS product in the Federal and Commercial marketplaces through continuous professional contact with existing and/or new clients.
Responsibilities
Build effective relationships with key clients and decision makers.
Grow existing accounts, engage in mining of new unassigned clients, and source new revenue opportunities within defined Federal and Commercial spaces.
Recommend and implement marketing and business development strategies with new and existing federal and commercial clients.
Generate and respond to all leads via the phone, website and other online lead generating systems, networking events (conferences, seminars, trade shows, vendor outreach sessions, etc.), social outings and client meetings.
Prepare sales presentations and represent Denysys at sales briefings to clients. Present our COTS products to clients.
Identify, develop, and maintain relationships with strategic and tactical teaming partners securing productive teaming arrangements.
Participate in proposal strategy and development plans.
Assist in the capture management and proposal development processes.
Ensure adherence to proposal requirements and formats, proof-reading, editing, working with technical and authoring of major sections, document assembly, and final reproduction.
Manage multiple clients and changing priorities without much supervision.
Provide bi-weekly (weekly as needed) activity / Business Development report.
Develop and maintain pipeline. Provide weekly pipeline reports.
Requirements
Experience in the Federal space is a plus
3-5 years’ experience in marketing and selling COTS products, regulatory solutions, enterprise or case management software
Bachelor’s degree or 5 years of Business development experience
